AUTHOR Margery Brown
MARGERY WHEELER BROWN grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a graduate of Spelman College. She was an art instructor at Spelman as well as in the public school systems in Durham, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; and Newark, New Jersey. Ms. Brown is the author of AFRO-BETS Book of Shapes and AFRO-BETS Book of Colors both available through Just Us Books. She is also the author of a Christmas story, Baby Jesus Like My Brother, illustrated by George Ford.
